Thank you Charlotte Bobcats for hiring Larry Brown...he can now take his name out of the hat for the Grizzlies. Your franchise will now be torn apart by Brown and in the end will be left more unstable than the Mexican economy...
This is Larry Browns Career:
After college he joined the ABA in 1967 where he played for five seasons...on 5 different teams.
He then went to the following Coaching stops:
Summer 1972 - Davidson College - NCAA
1972-74 Carolina Cougars of the ABA
1974-79 Denver Nuggets
1979-81 UCLA (NCAA)
1981-83 New Jersey Nets (NBA)
1983-88 University of Kansas (NCAA)
1988-92 San Antonio Spurs (NBA)
1992-93 Los Angeles Clippers (NBA)
1993-97 Indiana Pacers (NBA)
1997-2003 Philadelphia 76ers (NBA)
2003-05 Detroit Pistons (NBA)
2005-06 New York Knicks (NBA)
2007-08 Philadelphia 76ers - Front office
2008-present Charlotte Bobcats (NBA)
Who would want him really? Why are you people hiring him? In his entire NBA coaching career he's only won ONE title... so why is it that everyone thinks Larry Brown is going to take them to the promise land? He's old, out-dated, his coaching style sucks, and he is the definition of a Nomad.
Give me a young coach - give me someone who hasn't proven to ruin franchises.
That's all I got.
